We’re Hannah and Stephen Heavens – and dreaming up exceptional yet practical kitchens is our passion. So setting up Newly Designed to provide a superior freelance design service for independent kitchen retailers is the culmination of a long-held ambition.
With 15 years of experience in the kitchen industry between us, we know a thing or two about what makes a head-turning kitchen design.
And because we appreciate the pressures on showrooms with small teams, we’ll ensure your
experience of working with us is effortless and achieves exactly the results your customers expect.
Why we love designing kitchens
Hannah’s appreciation for the craftsmanship of creating and designing bespoke kitchens began as a teenager when her father Paul ran a handmade kitchen business. At 19, she trained as a carpenter in his joinery business and later learnt line drawing and CAD design. Having worked in the industry for 10 years, she’s now an accomplished kitchen designer who works with a variety of styles and budgets up to the highest specification.
Stephen began his career in the building industry and has more than 5 years of experience in kitchen design. As a husband-and-wife team, we’ve supplied mid to high-end kitchens to customers with barn conversions, period properties and large extensions from our Midlands showroom and worked with property developers on rural projects in beautiful locations across the region.
These days we live in Dawlish in Devon and enjoy taking our yellow Labrador Monty on long walks in the glorious countryside.

their businesses with our sister venture, LittleLeaf Marketing.
